As It Was Photography ("we", "our", "us") provides professional photography services, including but not limited to wedding, family, couples, maternity, lifestyle and portrait photography throughout Cape Town and the Western Cape.

Submitting an enquiry through this website does not constitute a confirmed booking.
Photography services are only secured once:
* Availability has been confirmed;
* A signed photography agreement has been received (where applicable); and
* The required booking fee has been paid.
We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion.

All pricing displayed on this website is subject to change without notice.
Quotes remain valid only for the period stated in the quotation.
Additional services, travel fees or requested upgrades may incur additional charges.
5. Copyright & Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, As It Was Photography retains full copyright ownership of all photographs created.
Clients receive a personal licence to download, print and share their delivered images for non-commercial purposes.
Images may not be:
* Sold;
* Altered or edited;
* Used commercially;
* Submitted to competitions;
* Entered into publications; or
* Licensed to third parties
without our prior written permission.
6. Image Editing
The editing style displayed throughout our portfolio represents our artistic style.
By booking our services, clients acknowledge that:
* Editing decisions remain at our sole artistic discretion;
* RAW or unedited files will not be supplied;
* Additional editing requests may incur an additional fee.
7. Portfolio Use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we reserve the right to use photographs for:
* Portfolio display;
* Website content;
* Social media;
* Marketing materials;
* Advertising;
* Competitions;
* Educational purposes.
Clients requesting complete privacy must notify us before their session. We will always respect agreed confidentiality arrangements.

We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of external websites.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, As It Was Photography shall not be liable for:

Our maximum liability relating to photography services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for those services.

* Illness;
* Accidents;
* Equipment failure despite reasonable precautions;

Where possible, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule photography services.

Any personal information submitted through this website will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African privacy legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
